My Way Home

Last night I drove alone, trying to find my way home
Highway to my back door, directions, but I need more
Diamonds I can see, rubies ahead of me
Ocean on my left, sunset I'm heading west

On my own…
Just trying to find my way home

I walked all alone, just trying to find my way home
I rode all alone, just trying to find my way home
I drove all alone, just trying to find my way home
I left all alone, just trying to find my way home

Mistakes? I made a few. Friends? Maybe one or two.
Tears? I've shed my share. Fears? I'm not scared.
Love? She's a friend of mine. Trust? That takes time.
Good times walk hand and hand with bad times, but I still stand

On my own…
Just trying to find my way home

I walked all alone, just trying to find my way home
I rode all alone, just trying to find my way home
I drove all alone, just trying to find my way home
I left all alone, just trying to find my way home

Below the Masses I left, a new year is in the west
I was Conn'd on the way, but I'll be back some day
It's the smallest state of mind, but I left it all behind
I Rhode all alone, just trying to find my way home

I walked all alone, just trying to find my way home
I rode all alone, just trying to find my way home
I drove all alone, just trying to find my way home
I left all alone, just trying to find my way home
