Waiting For Fall

Desperately seeking a truth of my own
Taking me a thousand miles from my home
Crossing the paths of the minds of all
Lost in the past of the years before fall

Green leaves are flourishing on these innocent trees
Hiding from autumn refusing to see
Chasing the wind on hurricane days
Can’t see the horizon through the hot summer haze

Living and learning my stomach is burning
For a chance to find the life which I’m yearning
Fate has yielded an array of smiles and tears
Testing my person through the Frutopia years

Quite satisfied under these innocent leaves
Soon autumn will come and rid me of these
For they steal all the views of the grand summer nights
The stars are all constant everything is right
